Alumni Nations was launched in 2014, with the goal of helping schools, school districts, and foundations energize and engage their alumni and other constituents, positioning schools as the foundation of strong neighborhoods, work forces and communities.  

We do this by helping schools to connect with alumni, alumni-parents, and the greater community to achieve a margin of excellence that cannot be provided solely through public funding. 

Jonathan Rivera, CEO, based in Provo, Utah

Jonathan Rivera is a leader with a rich tapestry of experiences woven over 15 years of dedicated service in the education technology sector. As the newly appointed CEO of Alumni Nations, Jonathan brings a career marked by achievements in customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and innovative product management within the K12 space.

Born in the heart of Idaho, Jonathan's upbringing in a close-knit community shaped his values of hard work, collaboration and community service. His educational path led him to Brigham Young University, where he earned a degree in Technology Engineering Education. During this time, Jonathan laid the foundation for family, faith and the pursuit of knowledge which are values he carries into his professional life.

With his years of experience in the edtech industry, Jonathan is a seasoned leader who has helped lead companies through multi-million dollar growth and acquisition, built high-level relationships with key stakeholders and partners, and created strong brands and culture that he loves to talk about. 

Jonathan is thrilled to share actionable insights and collaborative strategies that will empower education leaders. He looks forward to opening a dialogue, answering questions, and learning from the rich experiences within the educational landscape.

Alexandria Burgraff, Marketing Consultant, based in Atlanta, GA

Alex Burgraff, is a communications and social media professional.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management and French in 2009. She graduated magna cum laude and received the “Who’s Who” award for her excellence in communications.  In that time Alexandria also completed her Certificat de Langue Francaise Niveau Avance from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

Alex has since been working in the nonprofit and education sectors in marketing communications and social media. She began her career with LIVEyearbook in Neenah, WI and later served as the Director of Marketing Communications for HuTerra, a nonprofit crowd funding start-up.  

Kendra Kuehl, Customer Success Manager, based in Suamico, WI

Kendra graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Autism Spectrum Disorders. After graduating, she held a career as an educator for 10 years.  During that time teaching, she also completed her Master of Arts in Education degree in Educational Technology/Digital Learning from Marian University - Wisconsin.  

Kendra has since been working with Alumni Nations to oversee the client on-boarding experience by working closely with clients through the launch of their nation.  She is also a primary day-to-day contact on all operational items regarding your nation.  

Michele Roberts, Education Consultant, based in Omaha, NE

Michele joined the Central High School Foundation in August 2010. During her tenure with CHSF thus far, Roberts has launched and completed a $19.3 million Central High School Arts and Library addition to name just one of the many programs she has launched during her time there.  Prior to joining the Central High School Foundation, Roberts served as Director of Basketball Operations for the Women’s Basketball Program at Iowa State University. She has also served as Associate Athletic Director and Senior Women's Administrator at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and taught at Central High School from 1996-2003.  Michele holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a master’s degree in Education from Iowa State University.
